The project is being redisigned and is scheduled to be ready to begin in August 2009! More info as it becomes available. Contacts the El Paso City Parks Department to voice your suggestions and concerns at 541-4331 or email them here and speak to Parks Superintenedent, Sam Calhoun. The Eastwood "Bark Park" is still open however does not have a water station or shade. In addition to the heat factors the activity ramps are covered in black top which can get very hot in Summer months. Please take some water and consider those issues if taking your dogs to Eastwood "Bark Park". It's important that we have these great places to excercise our pets but they must be done right and with concerns of the animals' safety. |
