Bailey - Co Founder of ElPasoDogParks.com

Our mission is to provide pet owners & dog lovers an online community to discuss and share ideas for requesting dog parks be built in El Paso, Texas. Properly built dog parks provide pet owners as well as non-profit organizations such as animal rescues & shelters a safe and secure place to socialize and exercise our beloved pets.

Dog parks in other cities have been shown to help reduce crime in those neighborhoods, promote outdoor family activities, improve public image, promote animal awareness, increase pet adoptions, promote local businesses, and cost very little to build and maintain. Please create an account on our website to join our community to learn more as it happens.

Thank you for stopping by!

Some of you may know that in addition to being a web developer, stand up comedian & actor, I also teach State Defensive Driving classes for those that receive traffic citations and want them dismissed (www.bust-a-gut.com).
Tonight I had a student by the name of Ann Morgan Lilly. She's a City Representative for District #1 in El Paso, TX. This is the same district that planned on building a dog park.
I was told by Parks Dept. Sam Calhoun and Director of Planning Richard Chavez that the dog park project was POSTPONED INDEFINITELY due to budget issues.
It turns out this is NOT the case. The park will be redesigned and is scheduled to begin in August.

I will be contacting City Rep. Lilly about this and try to get more info for everyone. I assure you it will be posted on the website once I got the details. I may drop into her office and get some photos and maybe something in writing as well. Next month is an Election Month in El Paso. It's time to move!

So I hope this comes as good news to everyone. I do want to ask everyone to become active on the website again. It's time we use the message boards and start brain storming.

Thanks for your time and support, please donate if you can. Right now it's needed.
